Description

Here's how we broke down traditionally painted animation scenes back in the day. This is one of mine from Spirit, Stallion of the Cimarron (acrylic on Crescent 100 illustration board, each painted separately).

How much I miss "traditional" animations... they had something CGI will never have, that little spark in them that's missing with CGI.
I don't know if you will ever read this, but since you're also working on newer film I wonder how you're feeling about it, traditional VS CGI? Like, which one is easier to work on for you or if doesn't impact you concept works that much?

Thank you for sharing some of you concepts with us, Spirit and Sinbad are part of my favorites
